When I lived in KY 1980’s early 1990’s, I voted for McConnell thinking he was a conservative like myself. He sure sounded like one. Then I moved to Ohio and voted numerous times for Portman because he also portrayed himself to be a Conservative Republican.
I was fooled. Both voted for this bill.
But how was I to know? Later their actions showed who they really are.
As a result, I don’t believe any of them anymore. I get email from new Republicans running for office....again saying all the right stuff and then asking for money. There is no way I’m going to get hooked into believing politicians anymore. I don’t know these people. Why should I believe them? They want power and they know how to get it.
And, until we Clean up our voting system, make every citizen re-register, and disallow non citizens nothing will change.
Infrastructure? Yeah, right. How many bridges to nowhere? What will the Central Planners do about the crumbling infrastructure of failed bureaucrats and politicians?
You can’t blame Tom Reed’s constituents. They are mostly very conservative. He has always been a squish but the democrats in his district always put up a far left winger against him and he wins easily. Maybe because the democrats know they have his vote when they need it so they let him win.
He’s not running again.
Uhhh... Didn’t Trump propose a $1 Billion Infrastructure Bill and the Dems opposed it for being too small?
If Trump won, the Bill would have likely benn bigger.

reportedly voted yes on the so-called bipartisan infrastructure bill.
I consider them Vichy Republican swine.
If Pelosi REALLY needed Republicans to carry over the vote, there would have been no vote. She’s not that dumb as to expose herself and her party to risk.
She had the votes she needed, she just didn’t use them all, knowing that the idiots on our side would wind up blaming our sellouts, rather than her for the bill passing.
Smart lady.
That’s good.
I know that Idiot AK from Illinois is not running again, but what about the other 11 traitors to America and the Party?
She needed 218 to win passage so without the R votes she had only 215. So she had to have 3 of the RINO’s. If not, then she’d have been arm twisting a couple of the squadders. That would have been interesting. It’s a shame we can’t trust the Republicans to stay together and defeat this crap.
It’s an outrage that Dems and some Repubs gave Biden access to billions of our tax dollars, voting for the....gag....infrastructure bill.
Biden was desperate for a victory......the Biden Crime Family was on his back......and the word is Piglosi gave away the store to get votes.
WE DEMAND DETAILS NOW: what is the taxpayers cost to get greedy Democrap votes for the Biden Crime Family Billionaire Enabling Bill

A key takeaway is that Biden’s failing economic policies need opposition.
My understanding is that McCarthy & Scalise voted NO for the recently passed infrastructure bill.
The Republicans who voted in favor of the bill were: Don Bacon of Nebraska, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Andrew Garbarino of New York, Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio, John Katko of New York, Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, Nicole Malliotakis of New York, David McKinley of West Virginia, Tom Reed of New York, Chris Smith of New Jersey, Fred Upton of Michigan, Jeff van Drew of New Jersey and Don Young of Alaska.
Won’t argue that too much, although she still would have gotten her way. But yes, it would have been GREAT to watch the show.
Hopefully all is on
same plane!

Nope. It was the GOP who opposed Trump’s infrastructure bill because they did not want him to deliver a cornerstone of his campaign platform.
I get a kick out of all the two faced politicians and the lamentations of their constituents.
Unhappy? Take ‘em snipe hunting sometime ..
Anyone who thinks we are a free people are not seeing things as they really are.
The DC elite don’t work for us, they work for donors and their owners, foreign and domestic.
