Ratings have come out for the third quarter and Fox News ratings are crushing the liberal media, again

It seems people continue to tune out CNN and MSNBC and choose Fox News to get their information, even if you are not a fan of Fox, that is a good thing.

Fox News is not my first choice of places to get my information from but the are obviously far better than CNN and MSNBC.

The networks should train them to do a short lead in and ask the question allowing the interviewee to tell their own story;

Absolutely. And they often cut the interviewee off mid sentence to explain what they were going to say.

Wow, Bob, you posted things that also have been totally annoying to me for a long time regarding TV interviews on Fox.

Hannity's interminable questions to his guests are not only tedious, but his spate of words use up too much of the short time allocated to them.

I will say he's gotten a wee bit better on his constant interruptions when his guests are speaking.....he doesn't constantly break in on them as much as he used to.

My other main pain is how the rate of speech of television news personalities is getting out of control. Too many pundits and contributors are now speaking so fast it's way well above the speed range that normal people speak.

There's nothing wrong with my ears....and even when I put closed captioning on to help out with a fast talker, the device can't keep up at all with the above-normal rate of speech practiced by so many pundits now.

There is one contributor on Fox in particular who speaks so fast that she's practically incoherent to the average listener...and you virtually cannot understand a thing she's saying.

"Remember - the goal is to defeat commie shits... their paid for ‘rent a mobs’, Soros thugs and progressive useful idiots..."

Point taken, however, this current leadership at Fox fired Lou Dobbs. I can watch Tucker on other devices without looking at a sponser.

I don’t watch TV for news.

I tend to watch vids online about blade forging and blacksmithing, and some goofy “ghosts caught on camera!” stuff when I need to watch something.

Sounds fun - nice life choices. So, is the ‘grimmy’ part connected to a blacksmithing hobby?

If too many conservatives become rats deserting the Fox ship, the network will then become TOTALLY neutral (wishy-washy)....or become TOTALLY leftish-leaning.

You're right... We want to give power to conservatives - not to liberals...

“I, too, HATE Geraldo, Wan Williams, etc.etc.......but why should I withdraw my support for regulars like Tucker, Bongino and the others who speak MY language ??? These conservative pundits are laying their careers out on the conservative line....why could we even think of withholding support for them ???”

Exactly right.

The Fox News Channel is the Mitch McConnell of conservative news. They talk a good game, but in the end, they throw in with the America Last crowd.

The ratings and resulting advertising $$$ the few semi-America First hosts bring into the company funds the wider America Last, corporatist/oligarch messaging. I use “semi-America First” for the evening hosts because even they will just not address the real problem - that we can no longer trust our electoral system. Imagine what would have happened if every evening host had kept that up from Nov 4 on instead of kowtowing to Paul Ryan (remember him - he stifled Pres Trump’s agenda for two years until he lost the Speaker position) and staying REAL quiet about it.

So basically, keeping their ratings up just puts more money into the enemy’s hands while making patriotic Americans think they are hearing real conservative voices, which just isn’t true.
