Acceptance of a pardon is generally considered to be an admission of guilt.

Having a law license is not a right.
I saw the McCloskeys speak in person a few weeks ago in Bethlehem, PA. They said state law does not allow them to be pardoned before a trial. They are nice people. (Northampton County GOP brought them here.)
