Michelle Obama Claims ‘Only A Tiny Fraction Of Demonstrations Have Had Any Violence At All’

In a Biden campaign video released Tuesday, former First Lady Michelle Obama argued that only a small percentage of protests in the U.S. have turned violent.

The story: The former first lady asserted that the majority of protests in the U.S. are peaceful and instances of riots and looting scarce. She also said in the video that claiming otherwise is “racist.”

Shortly before that, she attacked President Trump for what she said was dividing the American people. Obama further noted that painting protests against racism and police brutality as violent plays into President Trump’s tactic to scare people into voting for him. She called this period a “difficult time, a confusing time” and said, “when people hear these lies and crazy conspiracy theories repeated over and over and over again, they don’t know what to think.”

You need to understand that looting, vandalizing, burning buildings and vehicles, and dragging people out of their cars is not really violence. It is kind of like the heat in Arizona... its a dry heat... you might die if you don’t roll the windows down fast enough, but its not really that uncomfortable. /s
