Several Fox News anchors criticized their colleague, Chris Wallace, for the way he handled the first presidential debate as a moderator.
The debate was contentious from beginning to end with Wallace struggling to stop President Trump and Joe Biden from interrupting each other, launching personal attacks, and getting off-topic. Wallace repeatedly asked the candidates to let each other speak and at one point, Wallace raised his voice to end a clash between the president and Joe Biden.
“Why should I be different from the two of you?” he said.

Wallace wasn’t a moderator, he was a debater. He should have been standing at a podium instead of sitting behind a desk.

The next debate should have no moderator; like the award show without a host. Many people have often felt that the difference between Chris Wallace and an empty chair is that an empty chair does not get a paycheck.
But, sadly, he may turn out to be the best moderator of the debate season. So let's try an empty chair.

One America News (OAN) gave a scathing criticism of Wallace. On another network, Bill O’Reilly said Wallace did not force Biden to answer the question and, when he refused, he let him escape by changing the subject. It would be interesting what he says on Hannity’s show tonight.

A new idea, have a debate co hosted by Rush Limbaugh and Jim Acosta. Each allowed to ask 8 questions. Fairness at its finest. Self proclaimed conservative talk show host and a Progressive Liberal shiff disturber. I doubt they would allow it as they currently control the entire debate.
