insurrection 2021: preemptive history and trump options

liberals have sounded the jungle drums: trump will be dragged from the oval office should he refuse to vacate on january 20, 2021.

there is not much of a preamble, but presumably, this is only if trump is not elected to a second term.

however, what if there is an electoral college or ussc electoral college issue stalemate?

we already see that the liberals are willing to sacrifice the constitutional institutions of the electoral college and the ussc upon the altar of social justice (the contemporary equivalent term for political correctness these days).

in theory, if the electoral college cannot determine a 2020 presidential election winner, this would throw the election to the house of representatives for a state caucus vote.

however, this is such an arcane point of law that it seems very possible (if not probable) that the proceedings if any will be eclipsed by a mob frenzy. providence help us if the house is afflicted by the same anticipate procedural disease as the presidency-- legal delays based on delays, real or imagined, in mail-in voting in this coming november presidential election.

at any rate, it seems likely that if the liberals sense that the prevailing political winds, such as they may be at the time, shift towards trump, they will pull hidden levers that unleash widespread BLM and antifa anarchist rioting.

the justification for the rioting is that as predicted trump refuses to vacate the office of the presidency. there would be no mention of the legal possibility that president pro tem of the senate charles grassley would automatically assume the presidency if the house failed to convene due to election shenanigans, and if grassley chose (as i imagine he probably would) to appoint trump secretary of state and then resign, paving the path for trump to regain office immediately, according to the succession act of 1947 (signed by democrat president truman).

if any of this becomes realized, then trump will have two options: (1) prevaricate helplessly over a nation wracked in rioting; or else (2) declare war (in response to seceding states, acts of war instigating CWII) against any seceding states, call in the national guard, declare a national state of emergency, and possibly suspend habeas corpus (as lincoln did in april 27, 1861, 16 days after the start of CWI).

how would this scenario play out? what would trump's plays be after CWII is declared?

It used to be that the Secretary of State was next in line after the Vice President, and some would argue that would be better than the current system.

The election of 1916 was very close. Charles Evans Hughes narrowly lost California--if he had won California's electoral votes he would have won the election.

Since the inauguration for the next term would be March 4, 1917, Wilson had planned, if he was defeated, to appoint Hughes as Secretary of State. Then he and the Vice President would resign so that there would not be a long interval when the defeated President was still in charge--this was when World War I was in full swing (although the US had not yet become involved).

It doesn’t go to Sec of State.. It goes President Vice President speaker in that order,, Then Senate Majority leader. Then he can appoint Trump as vice President then resign!
