reading helps........it happened over 20 years and he still has to be registered as a sex offender. Generally one you’ve offended your a sex offender for life.

You'd be surprised at what is considered a "sex crime" these days, and then you'd probably think that many of these folks deserved to not be murdered in prison.
The prison system killed the White cell mate by putting the hate filled racist in the same cell. It was obvious that he hated Whites, and so the prison system is responsible for the death.
They did it with full knowledge.

Exactly, lots of ignorance on this board. Some of these "sex offenders" got there by asking a coworker for a date. I'm not kidding it's that bad. Sex offender lists are a scarlet letter and have no place in any legitimate justice system. American's should know better but they don't.
The article on this thread didn’t have any link to what you had mentioned. So some 22 years ago, a 17 year old and 14 year old fell in love or had a relationship and the mom waited until age 18 to turn the teen in that who had bopped her daughter because he could then be tried as an adult sex offender. The mom didn’t try to stop the relationship when she found out about there bye allowing the daughter to be further harmed potentially until the teen male was 18...then the mom could get her revenge(never mind intervening as soon as she found out about the relationship)? Bad mother and very coldly calculating if that is how the story went. Still he never signed up as a sex offender even after all these years thus a violation of parole? If a person is supposed to be on a sex offender list why does such a person have to “volunteer” to put oneself on such a list? You are either placed on it or not, one doesn’t have a choice...or so I’ve thought.

Prisons used to have separate cells for white and black prisoner and sometime entire blocks of cells to reduce friction in a sometimes violent and tense environment, but the Supreme Court decided that wasn’t equal treatment and ruled that everyone should sing kumbyar and get along.
You can be charged with a sex crime/have to register as a sex offender for mooning someone or peeing in the woods.

To be fair I did read the disjointed article....no mention of the contexts CAWW mentions or the 17 yr old and 14 yr old thingy he mentioned. I can’t even find any mention of the details on a 10 page web search and I don’t have the 35 dollar/month public records search services.
