Has Houston (Harris County) got a Soros prosecutor?
I’ll defer to Mr. Fred’s more current opining ability for this one
So Houston 6 million, DFW 7 million and Austin 1.5 million oh and San Antonio 2 million are blue as is El Paso another 1.5 million. How is Texas a “red state” yhe rural is barely holding on Texas will be purple if not blue in November.
Um, no! Not unless you know what you’re getting into!!!! Houston is different country!
That would be San Antonio ahead of Dallas on that list. Dallas at least came down on the “protestors” like a kiloton of bricks after the first night.
Most of the Dallas suburbs are conservative. Dallas city proper isn’t, but it’s actually quite a lot smaller than the suburbs combined. Hint: Dallas city population is only 1.3mil.
And now that the after-action report has been produced some on the city council want to get rid of the police chief.
After all, they don't want to hurt the "protesters" feelings. ;-)
I still don’t like her, but I have a lot more respect for her after she got her own hands dirty arresting curfew/permit violators that stayed in front of DPD HQ after the rest had left in accordance with their permit. Then when they deviated from the permitted march path to go after a new high dollar gentrified area, she trapped the mass of them on the bridge, tear gassed them and arrested them all. The few that stuck to the permitted path were left alone, not gassed and not arrested.
Agree, at least she was trying to get it under control. It’s a shame actions like that don’t get support from the elected officials that oversee the city. But that’s nothing new for Dallas.
Chief Asshole-veda defended the Harding Street raid until it became obvious that the Tuttles were murdered. The former Austin Police Chief is cut from the same cloth as such stalwart lawmen as Sheriff Scott Israel.
Iffen any FReepers have a link to his speech earlier this year - would do good to post it here.
