Here is some additional information:

• This is house district 54 currently occupied by conservative representative Jim Townsend, Pub House Minority Leader.

• Denise Lang's name is not currently shown on Ballotpedia's list (https://ballotpedia.org/New_Mexico_House_of_Representatives_elections,_2020#Candidates

• District 54 encompasses west areas of Carlsbad and Artesia and the mountain communities of Hope, Mayhill, Cloudcroft, High Rolls and down to the western side of Alamogordo.

• The district is occupied by oil and gas employees and ranchers, none of whom buy into the new green deal crap this candidate supports.

Jim didn't have any opponent in the 2018 election and won with 100% of the vote. I expect the same in 2020.
