I lived on a hill on a very narrow street and speeders were continually running up and down the road, barely stopping for school buses until they started stopping in the middle of the road, blocking both lanes.
I invited the local County Police district Commander over and gave them written permission to set up in my circular driveway.
I also told him the county may want to do speed bumps or if they didn’t want do that maybe a ‘private citizen’ could do that. He scoffed at me and said NO WAY that would ever happen...I then ‘sarcastically’ pointed out to him that I had 3 asphalt crews, a bunch of dump trucks and all the asphalt I needed to complete the job.
He gave me a ‘stern warning’ over the consequences of such actions and told me I had better hope that NO ONE accidently ‘dumped’ asphalt on any county street/road.
We always had a good laugh over that when out drinking beer....
Yes, repeatedly shutting down traffic and using DOT and maintenance workers every time it gets a stain on it. They have probably already passed 7-figure expenses to paint and maintain this graffiti. Quite an expensive snub to Trump.

They’d spend a ton of time looking, you know how many panel vans for delivery are used in NYC, and it’s be easy to disguise!
