“Private” chats with random strangers aren’t private. I don’t understand why people are so gullible. Don’t ever use your real name and don’t ever give out biographical details. I use Zhang Fei because it’s a random character from some novel I read, in translation, that no one would, in a million years, associate with me. The thing about the internet is that every single statement is recorded. You wouldn’t share your political opinions with some random stranger on the street, where the chances of being recorded are far lower. Why would you do so on the internet under your real name?
