It’s reassuring to know the police won’t be doing things like this during a gun confiscation by Big Government period.
They only do this kind of stuff to keep us safe.

This situation should wake people up that think the police would never actually attempt gun confiscation orders, due to various reasons often cited. Such as, patriotism, too dangerous, not enough police etc...well, they are following insane orders right now aren’t they? Police will do what they are told to keep their pensions. There’s no amount of honor or patriotism that trumps benefits and pension plans.
No one in Santa Cruz wants ‘valley people’ there anyway.

I keep trying to tell people the police are not your friends. Hopefully, this will wake up a bunch of people. I used to like police when I was younger, but I eventually realized that about 50% of the people that become police, would otherwise have become violent criminals. Yes, there are very good ones, but you can’t tell until it is too late. So they are best shunned and avoided.
