Yep, it's that attitude that makes me hate liberalism so much. At one time being a liberal might have meant someone in favor of liberties, like libertylover, but not now. Now liberals want to control every aspect of our lives: what kind of car you can buy, what kind of toilet you can buy, what kind of lightbulbs you can buy, what kind of packaging you use to bring home your groceries... The list is endless.
Actually, they’re properly identified as “Leftists”, not “liberals” (although Leftists prefer the even more accurate term “Progressive” ... accurate because as we all have experienced or at least have seen Leftism, very much like cancer, is a “progressive disease”.)
