President Trumps campaign has sent a letter to Twitters leadership after the platform labeled one of its videos as manipulated media.
The letter: Understandably, the Biden campaign has a strategic interest in intimidating social media companies into suppressing true and embarrassing video evidence of Joe Bidens continued inability to communicate coherently a sad truth that has been publicly noted by Democrats and media figures alike, the letter reads, according to Fox News.
Because they omitted the sentence after the offending one, completely changing the meaning, I do consider this a “manipulated” video. It pisses me off when the MSM does it and when anybody else does. We’re above this - or at least should be.
It may be time to start an all out war on twitter.
Everyone knows the difference between editing or excerpting while retaining the meaning and deliberately changing the meaning by selectively combining bits of audio or video. This is obviously the latter.
Grade = F.
An eye for an eye....a clip for a clip as explained in the letter.
Biden’s St. Louis comment in total was so garbled it was clear he knew not was he was reading...then finally realized he’d bungled it 3 times...then finally saved himself with the closing qualifier....kinda’.
I too would have used all of it....it was almost as devastating in total.
In the Biden gaff, he said, in essence, they would re-elect trump - with their circular firing squad.
His wording sucked, but by leaving off that last part it gave the impression that he thought they should re-elect trump. But when you add that last part, any reasonable person would understand that he was saying what has been said by many people for quite a while, now: That the Dems methodology is going to ensure that Trump gets re-elected.
There are plenty of glaring gaffs Biden makes, we don’t need to leave off clearly clarifying segments to make it look like he said something he did not mean. That is the Dem tactic of choice, not ours.
I think the Trump campaign should post a before and after video.
Any number of gaffes would show Joe Biden’s current impaired mental state.
For the “before” version, they should post the Council on Foreign Relations video where Biden clearly and succinctly explained his quid pro quo to withhold U.S. funds until Ukraine fired the prosecutor. Biden was clearly at the top of his game at that time many years ago.
Every single video on the service is edited.
Why were the Biden video’s that were cut to show Trump saying the coronavirus was a hoax, when that wasn’t what he said at all, why weren’t they labeled?
Therein is the problem.
