Truth is, Trump should have reversed this a month ago so we weren’t so far behind every other modern country in our testing. Could have drastically slowed its advance, with a hope for it to recede in the late spring and for us to have better preparation, treatments and possibly vaccines in the fall.
And he shouldn’t have announced it by trumpeting how it was a bad rule that Obama had instituted, since he’s had over three years to reverse it as is and he has talked about not politicizing the health crisis.
They will no doubt argue it is Trump trying to manipulate science. The media doesn’t seem to acknowledge that anything before Obama could be righteous.
