WEST BRANCH, Iowa (AP) — Hillary Clinton's suggestion this past week that Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is being "groomed" by Russians to act as a spoiler in the 2020 race may have had the opposite effect of what the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee intended: It's elevated Gabbard's candidacy and may have inspired even more ardent interest in her campaign among Clinton critics.
On Saturday, Gabbard found fans among the many Clinton skeptics across Iowa, where Clinton barely won the 2016 Democratic caucuses against Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
"What is this horrible thing that Hillary said about you?" one person asked Gabbard at a house party in West Branch.
Gabbard responded that "it revealed the truth that I have been experiencing for a long time now — which is that, because I have been trying to bring about an end to our country's long-held foreign policy of waging one regime-change war after the next . I am labeled as a traitor."

I don’t buy that she’s a fighter. She publicly said she would not support impeachment... until she did. She also said she would not take part in the Oct 15 debate... until she did. I suspect the right amount of pressure by the party bosses tends to “set her mind right.”

The regime of two parties "opposing" each other by giving the people half of what they want while denouncing the side that wants to give the other half, and vice-versa, is coming to an end.
Donald Trump is not a Republican. Tulsi Gabbard is not a Democrat.
What comes next is up to us, but this disconnect (which is an EXACT mirror of the Brexit disaster) is about to cost Donald Trump his job and touch off a big sloppy mess in our country.

Yep, this was a MASSIVE attack on Skunk Cabbage...and now what. Her plan was for a deadlocked DNC Convention, during which she would mount her white stallion, nude, and gallop on to the convention floor to SAVE THE CONVENTION as the ‘consensus candidate’. Now, if she tries that stunt she’ll be laughed out of the arena - given what she’s just been labeled by Tulsi.
So now to the future, they have to take out Tulsi, one way or another. Given their history, I suspect that they’ll fire up their army of supporters and simply tear Tulsi apart, limb-by-limb, based on her prior history (anti-LGBT, for example), while, at the same time she (Skunk Cabbage) plays the victim of an unprovoked, personal attack. This is going to be a HUGE smear campaign - but what will Tulsi do? Maybe start asking questions about ‘Cattle Futures’? Well, nothing to stop Tulsi, but Skunk Cabbage has no choice at this point - she cannot allow the criticism to stand. Her dream of destroying the country may be just days away from being crushed, once and for all - and by Tulsi, a total no-name, wow!
Hillary is all about the narrative.
Her accusations against Gabbard and Stein were part of “The Russians stole the election” narrative.
Trump, Gabbard, and Stein are just collateral damage—Hillary is a solipsist.
