Former Vice President Joe Biden told Iowa Radio he would not pardon President Donald Trump if the president is impeached and removed from office. He was making a clear reference to President Gerald Ford pardoning President Richard Nixon once Nixon was impeached. The pardon kept Nixon from being prosecuted for his role in the Watergate scandal.
“It wouldn’t unite the country,” Biden said about a potential pardon. “You’d say: ‘Wait a minute. I get a parking ticket and I’ve got to pay it. This happens to me and I’ve got to go to jail. This guy does all these things that put us jeopardy and he gets off?"
"And I think President Ford, God love him he’s a good guy, I knew him pretty well, I think if he had to do it over again he wouldn’t have done it…because he didn’t get re-elected," the former vice president said.

Ford was adamant the pardon was the right thing to do to help the country move on. Biden wouldn’t understand the statesmanship thinking that requires.

The whole Watergate thing was stupid and Nixon was paranoid. There were enough rinos in the senate and House he was toast, so he did take the fall. Rinos are the plague of the Republicans. We have our share of them now. Trump ain’t Nixon and this crap ain’t Watergate.

Isn’t that statement targeting Trump while he is a presidential candidate and competitor of Biden’s by referencing a political crime that hasn’t been proven yet and establishing a punishment? Isn’t that what they are trying to get Trump on is mistreating a candidate? Call out another investigator.

That whole episode was an utter disgrace; however, a foreshadowing of what has no been done to Trump...with even less reasons.
The far lefties/PINKOS/Fellow Travelers/Stinking Commies went after Nixon from the time he ran against Helen Gahagan Douglas for the Senate seat from California and beat her. It was decades of never ending harassment!
The whole charade of the break in was over info of a babe that was a Nixon associates girl friend. G Gordon Liddy was involved in the burglary, they taped a door latch and entered after a cleaning crew left. Liddy tells a histerical picture of the event in a monologue he did on his show. Nixon was asleep at the wheel letting this happen, but honorable enough to save all the personal crap from coming out. He was toast anyway. The babe slept with both parties.
But will he pardon President Obama?
He will, however, be begging for a pardon from Trump.
Nixon was not impeached. Nor was he tried for any crimes. Ford protected Nixon’s honor by refusing to allow a witch hunt to destroy a broken man. God bless him for his mercy. Biden would not know anything about that. Sleeze.
