President Donald Trump’s shocking request Thursday on the White House lawn that not only Ukraine, but also China, should investigate the Bidens, may have shown his open defiance of impeachment threats, but it also gave major air time to the innuendo the president and his allies have been trying to spread about Hunter Biden's links to a company funded by a Chinese investor.
While the substance of news reports focused on the brazenness of the president’s publicly calling on foreign governments to investigate a rival, their headlines and chyrons often communicated a simpler message: “Trump: Ukraine & China Should Investigate Joe Biden and Son,” as CNN put it.
While the media’s interest was sparked by the possibility of wrongdoing by Trump, the casual reader watching TV with the sound off or scrolling the headlines on a news site might well have assumed the greater scandal was about Biden.
The media’s reaction to Trump’s China comments is a particularly dramatic example of what some writers and media specialists have discerned as a key to the president’s successful communications: He understands that readers no longer consume entire articles or watch lengthy news discussions. Rather, they pick up stray impressions from what they see or hear on the go, which then add up to concrete ideas that may not fully comport with facts or reality.

Let’s see, when Joe Biden was VP, his son got lucrative jobs for which he was unqualified, and Joe bragged before the world about how he got a Ukrainian prosecutor fired who was looking into corruption at a company the younger Biden “worked” for. But nope, no problem! But the Bad Orange Man complained about corruption. “Impeach, impeach!” they screech.
The left has been conditioning people like this for decades. They count on this short attention span every time they lie about conservatives. Thank goodness Trump understands and can use the same tactics to combat the lies. It does not take a lengthy dissertation to raise questions about Hunter Biden’s employment in cushy positions in foreign countries for which he has no discernable qualifications. Nepotism should have no place in international affairs, nor is it “only” doing the business of the US, as Joe Biden claims.
Biden and his son Hunter ARE the bigger story...
But with 535 members of the House and Senate, the Bidens won’t be the only story.
Note to Capitol Hill: Surender now or be outted.

Maybe because it is the greater scandal? Or are we supposed to believe the Ukrainians and the Chinese chose Hunter Biden, after a worldwide search, because who isn’t looking for people who have a history of cocaine abuse who were drummed out of the military.
We don’t have to do a ‘parody’ of Biden speaking... we don’t have to lie about what he said because WE HAVE BIDEN AND HIS ACTUAL WORDS ON TAPE.
