All the Indian-Americans I know are staunch leftists.
Likewise.
Washington Co west of Portland was the last Republican stronghold.
20 years of H1b turned it Blue forever.
India IS a socialist country as stated in the preamble of it's constitution:
WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens.
Not all. but even amongst them Trump is likely to be the first choice for President. Maybe not the Republican party as such, but a lot of people I know say Trump is the best president so far. They were Obama voters.
Yep me too
I follow the tech industry as a journalist, and it’s incredible the number of Indian American leaders out there who are driving entrepreneurial companies.
Perhaps the biggest enemy is the Indian-born CEO of Microsoft whois driving the politically biased search engine, BING.
But on the flipside you’ve got Dinesh D’Sousa. Nobody, except Trump himself, takes it to the Dems like D’Sousa does.
Trump pulling off this event is a major coup! We are well on our way to eventually shifting the balance of US/Asia trade from China to fair-trade nations, especially India where the English language and tech-cultures mesh.
