PLANO — Beto O'Rourke on Sunday said Democrats should be bolder in their approach to issues related to gun control, immigration, criminal justice and climate change.
"I'm a lifelong Democrat," O'Rourke told about 300 people outside of Artcentre of Plano. "For too long Democrats have played defense ... but just like Lucy with the football, every single time that we put our best foot forward and move forward in the spirit of consensus and comprise and start in that middle position, we lose it."
O'Rourke called for a different, less compromising approach, noting that attempts at consensus building have led Democrats to vote on hundreds of miles of border fencing, mass deportations that break up families and a mass incarceration of minorities.

The thing NOBODY seems to be mentioning is that Beto said “He’ll yes I am coming for your AR15’s and AK 47’s ....and weapons designed for the battle field”. Think bolt action 30-06, 45 APC, 9mm, most revolvers, most lever action carbines, along with an assortment of knives etc. There are a lot of guns he is coming for!

I read a book long ago, I think by Larry McMurtry, in which guys out in the dessert with no women within 500 miles were inserting their bleeps into automobile gas tanks, holes in the ground, knotholes on trees...whatever. Didn’t associate it with gay guys then, but now...you bet I do.

As another FReeper pointed out, Beto is using a very Trumpian technique here: Being outrageous to get attention. Falls under the any publicity is good publicity game plan. Beto is throwing bombs because he is at 1% in the polls. He can’t really go any lower. Ha ha.

I double-dog DARE the Demonrats to pass a bill in the House that mobilizes every single armed Federal department (and there are a LOT!) to go into the state into which they are based, get 4473's from gun stores, and start invading homes to take AR-15's and AK-47's.
Trump ain't dumb enough to sign it, but if he did, that's one way to ensure a RADICAL reduction in the Federal workforce.
