Former Vice President Joe Biden, the current frontrunner in the 2020 Democratic race, has been hit by a new wave of gaffes and errors over just a few days – something that President Trump and his reelection campaign are increasingly pointing to as a problem for the potential White House rival.
Biden was hit by a Washington Post report this week that found that a moving military story – which the former senator called “God’s truth” – was not true.
The story was an emotional account of Biden's decision to travel to Afghanistan, despite concerns about visiting a war-torn area, in order to honor a Navy captain for retrieving the body of his dead comrade during battle.
According to Biden, he brushed off concerns about the risk of him traveling to the deadly area. “We can lose a vice president,” he said, recounting his words to a crowd during an event on Friday. “We can’t lose many more of these kids. Not a joke.” His story involved the captain dramatically telling Biden he didn't want the medal because his comrade ended up dying.
But after speaking with more than a dozen military and campaign sources, the Post determined the event "never happened" and that "almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect."

It’s universally acknowledged, even by Biden and his wife, that Biden has definite mental issues but, as the old saying goes, in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king and the rest of the Democrat presidential candidates are just plain bat shit crazy and dangerous so Biden is looking good
I am retired military and I’ve been to Afghanistan. A Navy Captain is not going to be out in the field trying to carry someone to safety under fire. So that right there immediately raises the BS flag.
Just like Hillary and her BS story of going to Bosnia and running from the plane to the terminal while being shot at. Of course the media brushed that off and if you make something of it, you’re a hater.
No joke. I’d even be dubious about an Army railroad-bar captain doing that but it would be a lot more likely. The good thing is that Biden is a complete idiot, so he keeps sticking his foot right into a bear trap.
An Army or Marine Corps captain maybe, a Navy captain no. O-3 versus O-6.
A SEAL? Why wouldn’t they? Plenty of USN Captains are SEAL members

I would say we should leave Joe alone at least during the primaries and save it for the general elections if he gets the nomination, but I remember how Operation Chaos worked out.
