She’s just as ineligible for Veep as she is for the presidency. And she knows it - she’s carefully edited her website to avoid giving the facts of her ineligibility.

She can strike a blow for feminism! Except she already did with Willie Brown.

Only one VP candidate on a losing ticket has later won the Presidency--Franklin Roosevelt who was the VP nominee in 1920.

If anything, Kamala Harris is even more unpleasant and unlikable than Hillary...but she still has a good chance of being the VP nominee given the 'Rats obsession with identity politics, and I doubt she would turn down the offer.

And FDR had Prohibition and the Depression helping him, so maybe you're right.

In any case, the only way Harris could win would be in a three-way race with a Never-Trumper running a third party ticket a la Perot, or Teddy R. in 1912. That wouldn't work in 2020, but it could in 2024 or 2028.

maybe because she doesn’t stand a chance in Hell of winning the top slot nomination

Say that again, slowly.

FDR also was Governor of New York and related to a popular former President (one of the four on Mount Rushmore). He was seen as doing a good job as governor, had a personality which most people found appealing (at least from a distance), and was going against an extremely unpopular President.

The mainstream media after four years of relentless attacks on Trump has not succeeded in driving down his popularity to Herbert Hoover levels and they have run out of tricks. So Kamala won't have that to give her a boost. The public so far has seen her in the Kavanaugh hearings and in Barr's appearance before the Senate committee as extremely rude and arrogant. I don't think that is how FDR came across. Of course, despite what Joe Biden thinks, he did not appear on TV.

FDR also had a sense of humor. Modern Democrats' idea of humor is making nasty put-downs of people they don't like.

Harris isn’t remotely qualified for her current job.

FDR would have been the first political candidate to appear in talking film, so the country would have seen clips of him on the silver screen giving speeches, as well as hearing him almost regularly on the radio. There are a few examples of this on the FDR Library website, and it is easy to hear how people would have been swayed to support the man, especially in the desperation of the early 30s.

Truman would have been on TV fairly regularly, though Ike was the first to recognize the usefulness of TV for a President, particularly one that has the media's support. And it goes without saying that Trump is the first President to connect with his supporters outside the news media; whether he will be the last remains to be seen.

She isn’t eligible to be VP, Speaker or President, so her campaign is in vain.

She’s an anchor baby born to foreign national parents.

Why wont anyone in the national news media address this?

Well, as far as I can tell, the only "qualification" to be a U.S. Senator is being a bullshit artist.

Only three sitting U.S. Senators have ever been elected President, and for good reason, although in the media age there has been an upsurge in Senator candidates.

Of the three, I'm sure we can agree that two were disasters in office (and my personal opinion is that all three were). Being a Senator means you never have to make a decision. Being President requires the ability to do that every day, often multiple times.

Anyway, Kamala Harris is as qualified as any other U.S. Senator to be there. Do you think she's LESS qualified than Gillibrand? or Murray? or Klobuchar? or Danang Dick Blumenthal? or, God forbid, "Maggie" Hassan from my own state?
