Biden is making a fundamental mistake with Trump voters -- and it could cost him everything

I’ve always been a fan of Joe Biden. I admire his authorship of the Violence Against Women Act and his longstanding gravitas as a public servant for decades.

I even contributed to the Draft Biden PAC back in 2015 in hopes that the straight talker from Scranton would enter the race for the White House.

I was, indeed, “Ridin’ With Biden” as they say.

I truly believe that 2016 was Joe Biden’s moment to run for president. Yes, he had run unsuccessfully twice before. And, yes, sitting vice presidents are not usually successful in their bid for the top job. But, I saw Joe Biden as the one person who could have taken on Donald Trump four years ago.

Biden had some access to the Obama infrastructure, and more importantly, he had the authenticity to connect with Blue Collar voters in the industrial Midwest. Yet, Biden passed on running for president in 2016, deferring to the perceived inevitability of Hillary Clinton’s nomination.

Outsider Donald John Trump was the perfect candidate for the time. He was a winner and a tireless workhorse of a campaigner. The man literally out-campaigned Hillary on every front. His rallies broke all attendance records almost all, if not all, were televised, including the rallies in prime time.

He did the hard work and it paid off. While he was out on the campaign trail, Hillary was holed up plotting dirty trick schemes against Trump.

Ideology aside, if Biden even has one.

I don't know who can "like" Joe Biden. He comes across as absolutely giddy at his station in life in a very arrogant way. Not sure how to explain it, like he's on a lifelong high that he somehow fooled enough people to be where he is for so long. It really rubs me.

He is an east coast liberal after all. I know what you mean. He has a subtle smarminess about him.

I can assure you that Joe Biden is as dead politically as one can be. I do not care what he said today.......the fact is there was hardly no one in that union hall today to cheer on Uncle Joe’s major POTUS announcement and remarks.

At the best there was between 150-250 people in that union hall, a dismal bunch at best. Joe...ya gonna have to do much better then that or, Trumpie will eat you alive politically. I give Joe about four weeks of political life and, then it is on to forever obscurity for the Biden clan!!!
