This fool could have blocked Obamacare. Or at least put a serious dent in it. He could’ve been a great leader. But he was just another squishy RINO Repug.
He had absolutely no power to do that - the Democrats had 60 seats in the Senate when it went through on the first vote, and the second vote was on reconciliation when they had 59 seats after Scott Brown won in MA. There is literally nothing he could have done...the entire GOP caucus voted against it both times but had literally zero power to stop anything.
