First lady Melania Trump will not appear at any campaign events in the final days leading up to the Nov. 6 midterm elections, her office confirmed Thursday. This comes as President Donald Trump plans to hold at least 10 campaign rallies leading up to Election Day as he and the Republican Party seek to keep Democrats from taking control of Congress.
"Due to her schedule as a mother and First Lady, especially with the holidays coming up, there are no plans for her to campaign at this time," her communications director, Stephanie Grisham, said in a statement.
The first lady has not been seen on the campaign trail during the 2018 midterm election and was a demure campaigner for her husband in 2016....

She is making appearances revolving around her signature issues. She was with the president at the opioid press conference and said a few words iirc. She doesn’t need to be hanging out in airplane hangars and stadiums. What would be the point?
I think she’ll leave 2018 up to PDJT, and re-appear when the 2020 campaign starts. She made a few appearances for 2016 presidential election and probably will do the same next time.
The way she’s treated by the Rats/MSM is despicable, and they’ll be enjoying the company of each other in Hell. I hope it’s worth it to them.
And if FLOTUS did attend? The press would angle the reporting to the negative anyway. POTUS is working it until the midterms and needs to keep up a brisk pace. If FLOTUS needs to concentrate on the homefront, let it be. It is THEIR prerogative.
She of course just completed a tour of Africa.
But Donald and Don Jr are doing massive work for the election. She should not be obligated to be out there.

Whenever she does go out, the media criticizes her clothing, they criticize her accent, and what they can’t see to criticize, they make up.
Hillary was a power/attention whore, as was Moochie.
If she prefers to avoid the crowds, and spend time with her son, then so be it.
I wouldn’t want to get caught up in that world either.
Headline, typical innuendo, indicating she specifically will not stump for the Republicans, thus leaving the door open that she might stump for the democrats.
That’s a hell of a schedule. I would not want to go either.
