Collins isn’t stupid. By now she has figured out that the whole thing was a scam.

I can't help but remember the frenzied effort Hannity put forth to torpedo the election of Judge Moore. I don't know if he had the clout to take the entire credit, but if he did not, it was not due from lack of effort on his part. We could really use Moore's vote right now. Did Hannity ever do program after program on Ted Kennedy being unfit for the Senate after he left Mary Jo Kopechne to drown in his car?

No, it won’t work, she would be dead in the GOP if she voted against ‘K’

We have to have Collins and Murkowsky, I’m convinced Flake is a no vote.

Don’t make me laugh, pressure. Is sweetening a pie pressure? It’s all about self in the GOPe. Increasing one’s power and influence. To hell with the country. To hell with the party.
That’s what drove McCain. That’s what drives Flake. That’s what drives Collins. She’s a no.

I just called Senator Collins and Senator Murkowski’s offices and left messages.
As United Stated Senator’s, they have an obligation to support all victims of sexual abuse, male and female.
They need to make known that making accusations like Ford has, without any evidence, is detrimental to all true victims of crime.
I pleaded for them to speak out publicly against the smears on the Judge and his family and consider the long term effects on the children by these smears.
If you would like to call Senator Susan Collings, the # is 202-224-2523
If you would like to call Senator Lisa Murkowski, the # is 202-224-6665

Call or email her office and POLITELY encourage her to support Kavanaugh.
Let the left behave like spoiled brats, but dont let her feel they are the majority. They are not

Good speech by McConnell in the Senate this afternoon citing the
Declaration of Conscience speech back in 1950 by Margaret Chase Smith, the senator from Maine, the "native state of Senator Collins", as he slyly put it - Smith was speaking out against what was perceived as the slurs, anonymous accusations and character assassination by Senator Joseph McCarthy - which McConnell compared to what was being done against Kavanaugh today - "enough is enough" he quoted Smith as saying - enough is enough, Susan Collins.....
