Why would we want anyone on the Supreme Court who thinks children born to one citizen parent in a foreign country are natural born citizens eligible to be President?

Anwar al-Awlaki’s kids, born in Yemen to one citizen parent, are not natural born citizens and neither is Ted Cruz.

Not particularly fond of Cruz, but there may be some quid pro quo going on. He is unquestionably an originalist with respect to the Constitution. If Republicans increase their Senate majority in November, then Cruz could be approved. The Senate rarely rejects one of their own. Dan Patrick would be a better team player for Team Trump than Cruz, and is perhaps the most conservative man to be elected statewide in recent Texas history.

The challenge of Natural Born Citizen is a real one. Ignored with Obama to elect the "first black president" though history shows Clinton and now Trump, maybe Truman, and also Lincoln have done more for them.

Not just Anwar al-Awlaki’s kids, we've also got Little Rubio, Nikki Haley, Kamala Harris, and many others. Not are constitutionally eligible for president.
