That’s not Mr. Zimmerman in the photo, that was an imposter acting like he’s Sergeant York of the Air Force when he almost certainly never served. I used it to illustrate that a reporter shouldn’t take everything he is told at face value. Sorry if that mixed some people up.

The link above says he did serve in the Air Force as a C130 loadmasters apprentice but his Court Martial busted him from A1C back to AB (E1), gave him five months in the Stockade and a Bad Conduct Discharge for multiple drug violations.

Clearly the drugs, including ecstasy, mushrooms and huffing shoe cleaner totally destroyed his brain.

And get this, they even pointed out that if he had been prior Army any valid combat badges could rightfully have been converted to the new Air Force "Combat Action Medal" which he was also wearing on his mystical breastplate.
