The definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting to get a different result, which is one of the many reasons President Donald Trump’s news conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin seemed so insane. Trump is trying to do something that both of his immediate predecessors tried to do: turn over a new leaf with Russia. They both failed, and so will he.
Recall that George W. Bush entered the White House promising to end the “dead ideological rivalry” of the Cold War. At a 2001 summit with Putin in Slovenia, Bush declared, “I looked the man in the eye. I found him very straightforward and trustworthy — I was able to get a sense of his soul.” President Barack Obama tried to appease Putin by giving in to the Russian leader’s demands that we cancel our missile-defense plan with Poland and the Czech Republic — and did it on the 70th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland. And while serving as Obama’s secretary of state, Hillary Clinton humiliated herself when she gave Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov a giant red button with the word “reset” on it (which, adding insult to injury, misspelled the Russian word for “reset” to read “overcharged”).
Trump does not seem to fathom that the problem with U.S.-Russia relations is not a lack of effort on the part of U.S. presidents. Russia is the only country on Earth other than North Korea that would dare use a toxic nerve agent to attempt to carry out assassinations on foreign soil. It is a regime that blatantly violates its nuclear and chemical weapons treaty obligations, has invaded two neighbors, and has threatened NATO countries (and Mar-a-Lago) with nuclear annihilation....

The Russians in The Ukraine can be laid at William Jefferson Clinton’s door. He convinced the government of The Ukraine to give up their nukes saying “we’ll back you 200%”. Then left the mess to GW who walked into the shitstorm. This was after Clinton screwed the people in Yugoslavia. Another Demorat crap fest. I don’t think Putin is waiting on a reset button from DJT.
I can vouch for that for I too have tuned out Fox until Dobbs, tucker and Hannity come on..Ingram is in the dog house! I used to have fox on ALL DAY!! Not anymore..#MSMBLACKOUT ..SCREW THEM!!!
Agree with that statement, I've also observed that with each passing day the anti-Trumpers become more hostile, belligerent, uncivil and worse.
Not talking about the Shrillary Clinton's, Marxine Waters or Schmucky Shumer here, I'm talking about people I actually personally know and sometimes work with. They've gone completely over the edge since the Trump-Putin meeting. There's just no pulling back for them at this point. All certifiably nuts.

Both sides have to really believe in their end game. The never trumpers thought that any normal person would quit long before now. But Trump is not a normal person and his end game is that he will wear them down instead. I am betting on Trump. He was a New York Contractor for years that was strong enough to muscle out the mob. He won’t cave like the usual Republican wimps that just wants to be loved by the media.
I always wonder why Hillary and company thought that Russians would be familiar with a TV commercial for a US office supply store chain.

Gingrich was on Hannity's radio show today and acting as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened, and he was back to praising Trump. Gingrich's criticism must've backfired big-time.
