Thanks for the post. Curious about the “Disqualified” list and David Dudenhoefer, R-Detroit for 13th Congressional District in particular. He came by my house less than two weeks ago.
The Constitution would need to be changed to allow him to run for POTUS?
Bill Schuette for Governor of Michigan ...!
Likely be between Schuette and the current Lieut Gov.
I was in the same 1972 graduating class as Bill at Dow High School. Good guy back then ... haven’t seen him since I left for the Navy that summer after graduation.
Colbeck Michigans most conservative candidate for governor.
And zero chance of elected Governor.
Bill Schutte is the only Republican running that can and will win. Don’t stick MI with Grandmole2 by nominating a sure loser.
Probably (guessing here) has to do with invalid signatures on petitions, illegible making them miss their count. Conyers III was disqualified, that makes me happy.
Just was cleaning out my messy car and found a couple of recent campaign mailers for Roger Victory, running for state senate, currently 88th dist H of R.
if the Demwits nominate the muzzie — and he has the benefit of more publicity than his fellow Demwits — we’ll get a Pubbie.
I suspect that the dirty tricks will be heavy in many elections throughout the country, we’re seeing it against Jim Jordan in Ohio.
Lena Epstein used to talk on WJR to morning hosts and something she said stayed with me.
Whatever the exact number was at that time, let’s say 95%.
She said Donald Trump has 95% negative, attacking media coverage of everything he says or does.
She asked: How could you or anyone in your audience survive if everything you did or said, the tiniest things, were cause for everyone to attack you, pick on you, oppose you, denigrate you, and try to undermine you—everyone around you all day and all night every day that went by. Whatever your profession or attempts to raise a good family or your daily projects at work—all of these would be mercilessly attacked. I don’t know how Donald Trump survives that.
//////////////////////////////////
Every day or two I remember that statement clearly and am in awe of our President.
I detest, loathe, and abhor Jack Bergman.
Plus, “Wild Strawberries” sucks.
There's an online lookup page to find your actual ballot facsimile based on your address. I'll try to find it, unless someone beats me to it (hint hint).
Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) was the only Republican to vote against the measure.
Lena Epstein used to talk on WJR to morning hosts and something she said stayed with me. Whatever the exact number was at that time, lets say 95%. She said Donald Trump has 95% negative, attacking media coverage of everything he says or does.
She was full of ****, whatever number she was spouting -- our President never says anything negative except in response to negative remarks directed at him. Can't take the heat, Lena, get a real job for the first time in your adult life.
I think this is a misunderstanding.
She said the MEDIA say 95% negative things about President Trump, not that HE says negative things.
When he makes a positive speech or says he wants something to be enacted by Congress, the news media look for anything negative to say about him.
Media Research Center and other places report how much stuff is said against Trump every once in a while and it is always a lot.
That's not in what you originally posted, quite the opposite./blockquote>
I think the comma is ruining my statement and I take responsibility for this miscommunication to you and anyone else who thinks I was saying Trump was doing the negative stuff—it was the media saying everything negative about Trump.
I try hard to communicate well but I missed with that comma. Sorry.
No harm, no foul!
