Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao told a group of protesters at Georgetown University to back off when they began harassing her husband, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
McConnell and Chao were leaving an event at Georgetown University on Monday night when they were confronted by a group of protesters who repeatedly asked McConnell why he was separating families and played audio of children crying at the border.

The protesters swarmed the SUV set to take McConnell and Chao off campus, and Chao immediately jumped into defense mode.

Chao repeatedly screamed at the protesters, “leave my husband alone!” as she got into the SUV to leave.
McConnell is just the latest Trump-friendly public servant to be protested or harassed in the past week. White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was asked to leave a Virginia restaurant over the weekend, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was intimidated out of a movie theater, and DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was heckled into leaving a Mexican restaurant in DC.

If McTurtle had stood up to the deep state and fiercely tried to defend Americans from leftist smears and violence as well as supported President Trump instead of shoving his RINO knife in Trump's back them McTurtle would not be prey for the mob he enabled.

As someone else here pointed out, Mitch let us have Gorsuch by holding up that Obama appointee. I’m not his fan either, but this is a time for picking sides.
We are either with the repub or with the mexicans attacking him.
Hopefully he will look at those ingrates and want to do them no favors on DACA.
Now I’d like to see Mitch tell Trump to fire Mueller and assure him that the Senate will have his back.
