Tonight you will hear from the man President Donald Trump appointed as his 2020 re-election campaign manager. His name is Brad Parscale, and he got the job because - as we first reported in October - Parscale was the president's secret weapon in his 2016 run for the White House.
42-year-old Parscale was one of the campaign's top decision-makers, operating largely out of public view. He was hired to run the digital team, but over time he came to oversee advertising, data collection and much of the fund-raising. He says his main task was competing with the Clinton Campaign's huge advantage in money and tv ads. What he decided to do was turn to social media, most importantly to Facebook.
Brad Parscale: I understood early that Facebook was how Donald Trump was going to win. Twitter is how he talked to the people. Facebook was going to be how he won.
Lesley Stahl: And Facebook IS how he won.
Brad Parscale: I think so. I think Donald Trump won, but I think Facebook was the method -- it was the highway in which his car drove on....

If the Fake News division of Deep State is “reporting” on how Trump manipulated Facebook data to win the election, it must mean real bombshell news is about to drop that the Hillary campaign colluded with Facebook to violate the privacy of users for the benefit of the DNC.
The media is desperate to hide Obama's use of the same tools Trump used.
Fun article -except for the crazy “Russia Russia!” stuff.
“... Lesley Stahl: So how did you get involved with the Trump people?
Brad Parscale: I was sitting at IHOP and I got an email. I was eating a ham and cheese omelet. I was. I get an email and I open it up and it says — “This is Kathy K. from the Trump Org — can you please call me?” That’s it —
Lesley Stahl: Outta nowhere?
Brad Parscale: Outta nowhere.
Six years ago she was looking for someone to design a website for a Trump real estate project. Parscale bid lowest, got the job, and soon many more followed: websites for Eric’s foundation, Melania’s skincare line, the family’s wineries. Then, in early 2015, came another life-changing email:
Brad Parscale: It said “Donald Trump is thinking about running for president. We need a website in two days.” So I wrote back, I said, “Yeah, I’ll do it for $1,500...”

Clearly, not all the idiots in the world are gop leadership.
A fare amount work for CBS
I hired a group that uses facebook advertising for my brother-in-laws business. With tneir use of information and algorithms they can well target the people you wish to get your message to. If you have enough money you can get virtially any info put to whoever you want. If your money is short you can strategically target demographics. Any idividual or group, whether real or imagined can put out their opinions as if they are real news yet there is no fact checking. Obama and the left used it to destroy their opposition through such groups as GetUp and Code Pink. While Trump used it to bypass the filtering of the MSM which was opposed to him. People are starting to become a little more savvy about 3rd party opinions but ot is still good value and as far as I know not illegal.
Dam......we gotta get that on a tee shirt.
LOL.
It was Trump’s rallies and speeches that did it for him, not friggin’ Facebook. Well, to be more clear... it was the policies he spoke of in those speeches.
‘TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE THE INAUGURATION:
‘Twas the night before Inauguration, and up in the tower
The Donald reflected on his newfound power.
The Deplorable masses had come out in force
Delivered a victory that would chart a new course
The snowflakes were shell-shocked with tears in their eyes
The media had lied to them . . . ‘What a great surprise!’
They had been promised a blowout a criminal Hillary win
But instead ole criminal Hillary took one right on the chin
From all corners celebrities took their far left cue
Telling the deplorables we’re far smarter than you
In their high-horse bubble, with no working-class clue
They tell us all we must follow their out of touch view
The fake news and ignorance came at a cost
They can’t understand all the reasons they lost
Blaming it on Comey and Russian excuses are sad
Failing to acknowledge she was the one who was bad
Yes, Hillary Clinton, in so many ways was flawed
She couldn’t help exposing she was a lying fraud
The campaign revealed her corruptness and greed
Her speeches insulted deplorables votes shed need
Out in the city streets there arose such a clatter
It was Soros-paid protestors
Black Lives Matter
With businesses to pillage and windows to shatter
Looting was their game knowing issues did not matter
Eight years of Obama had given them plenty of cause
To yearn for a replacement with another Santa Claus
Soon the bottom-feeder criminals will all feel the pain
When the wheels fall right off of their gravy train
And now all the snowflakes are riddled with fear
Upset the PC police will soon be out on their ear
The cocoa and crayons will help them for a while
But soon reality will creep in and cramp their style
I would’ve supported any Republican that rose
In the end I would vote for whoever we choose
He wasn’t my first choice, but soon I would concede
The one they call Trump is the one that we need
I saw him on TV in front of a very large crowd
He spoke about veterans, it made me feel proud
He spoke about energy safety prosperity and jobs
Taking this country back from the Washington snobs
He was dressed in Armani, all tailored and neat
The Bruno’s he wore made his outfit complete
For a man of his vintage, he seemed rather fit
And he looked presidential, I will have to admit
His eyes glowed like embers, his smile the best
His hair was the color of my old hunting vest
His love for this country was on full display
His actions spoke louder than his words could say
He thanked all his voters, and before he was off
Saved thousands of jobs while Obama played golf
Fate of this country he leaves nothing to chance
Filled out his superior cabinet weeks in advance
The men he had chosen were of the same mind
Let’s set the bar high, and not lead from behind
He picked up his phone as he rose from his seat
With a flick of his finger, he sent out this tweet
“Now Mattis ‘Now, Kelly’ ‘Now Sessions’ and ‘Pruitt’
On Perry On Flynn Youre the ones who can do it
Start lifting those restrictions and building that wall
Dash away: ‘Mattis’ ‘Kelly’ and ‘Flynn,’ Dash away all!
The roar of his audience rose from the stands
He kissed all their babies and shook all their hands
He answered their questions and calmed all their fears
They knew it was going to be a productive four years
He then jumped into his limo, and off to his jet
A fellow that snowflake liberals wont soon forget
He sent one more tweet as the evening expired
“Happy Inauguration to all, “OBAMA: YOU’RE FIRED!”
Pretty darn good!
Lesley Stahl misses exactly what Mr. Parscale’s effort actually did. It reached (1) voters usually ignored by the main stream media or who don’t really get a lot of coverage from it, (2) voters who turn off, tune out the main stream media, (3) voters that got awakened by messages not coming from the main stream media.
She also never backs up to the beginning, to 2012 and how Obama’s use of social media like Facebook and Google was part of how Obama thinks he won. But to Lesley Stahl, that was apparently O.K., but Mr. Parscale’s effort was not. She cannot hide what a hypocrite she is.
That poem is great. May I use it?
I looked for the like and share button. : )
Fake News
Donald Trump won because he is more likable than Hillary. Wayyy.
Hillary is not a nice person. Donald Trump is.
I used to turn on children’s videos on Youtube during the 2016 election year. There would be advertisements of Hillary speaking. She doesn’t give anyone the warm and fuzzies.
FB is how I keep up with family and people I started first grade with in 1950? I get so any conservative posts that I am thinking about getting rid of a bunch. I do get a few from Occupy Democrats or something like that but I just hide them. FB is what the user makes it.
“Its as if the Dems were not doing the same types of things?”
actually, they weren’t ... at least Hillary didn’t ... Parscale said Facebook made the same offer to embed the experts from their political ad division into Hillary’s campaign to teach them the same techniques Parscale asked them to teach his team, but Hillary’s campaign turned them down flat.
so the smartest and most prepared woman in history failed to effectively use social media ads and instead poured literally hundreds of millions into 20h century era TV advertising campaigns ...
the whole thing is screamingly ironic because 10 years ago the leftist fake stream was lauding the obama campaign for being the most digital savvy campaign in the history of humankind and that the stogy ol’ GOP dinosaurs could never, ever in a gazillion years catch up ...
