West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey prevailed in Tuesday’s West Virginia Senate Republican primary election and he’ll face Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin in one of 2018’s most closely watched races.
Patrick Morrisey is a rock-solid, independent-minded conservative who would be a valuable addition to the right flank of the Republican caucus.
Glad to see that Blankenship “lead” in the polls to be illusory. He would’ve been a guaranteed loss in November.
Will the back-stabbing traitorous establishment Republicans support him over Manchin?
Manchin had plenty of chances to become a Republican, but chose to keep palling around with that bunch...so I guess he’ll now ride off into the sunset.
Blankenship Was a plant by the left to be someone to vilify at general election time as was Roy Moore in Alabama.
No sense giving an election away.
That said; Any moment now, expect a (or several) woman to come out with “alleged charges” that she was fondled as a child (fill in the blank) against him. Cited, of course, by unverified independent sources.

Polls are absolutely useless..don’t believe them. They are crutches for bad reporters that don’t really have stories to report. Remimds one of the old adage “figures never lie, but liars figure.” Stats are tools for proving any point that one wants to make. Therefore, you can use them to understand the truth, or you can use them to fortify a lie. So the best way to understand them is to think “What is the intent (purpose) of this ‘study’?
Sounds like the democrat can count on the full support of the Washington Republican establishment.
