What she believes or not doesn’t matter. The important thing is she is voting for him. This gives cover to other lily livers to do the same. To win, Moore needs a decent percentage of those who consider him guilty but are willing to set that aside.

I have no reason to doubt the "accusers" either (except Corfman, who is a special case).

So what does that mean to me? We have a guy in his early 30s, with a tough spell in his 20s, who is attracted to (legal) but younger girls. He's a bit awkward and clumsy when approaching the targets of his affections, and he always without exception takes rejection like the gentleman he is.

Since then, he's married, and has a blameless if somewhat eccentric public career. He's now 70 years old.
