Both former President Bushes had choice words for current President Donald Trump in a new book scheduled to be published later this month, with the elder Bush reportedly calling the billionaire commander-in-chief a blowhard and flatly stating he does not like him.
Presidents George Bush and George W. Bush, the 41st and 43rd top executives respectively, spoke to author Mark K. Updegrove for the book The Last Republicans. It detailed the relationship between the father-and-son presidents and how they were fretful of what Trump had done to the Republican Party.
Furthermore, both ex-presidents admitted they did not vote for Trump. The elder Bush pulled the lever for Democrat Hillary Clinton while the younger told Updegrove he voted for none of the above.
I dont like him, George Bush said in May 2016 according to a The New York Times on Saturday. I dont know much about him, but I know hes a blowhard. And Im not too excited about him being a leader.
George W. Bush took umbrage with Trumps divisive brand of political machinery, a common accusation the current president faced along the campaign trail as throughout his first year in office.....

The blowhard is the idiot Bush who proclaimed, “READ MY LIPS! NO NEW TAXES!!!”, then added new taxes.
What an asshole!
Is this the same Bush who let his Saudi Muslim dictatorship bffs Escape back to Saudi after the 9/11 attack!??? He can GTH !
Please clap.
PS: Bush 41 considers Bill Clinton almost like a son. Go figure.
I started calling out GWB for the war on terror and his hypocrisy on here in 2004. You would have thought I was Harvey Weinstein.
Unbelievable they would go public with their true views. It’s not surprising as many have suspected all along that the Bush family had gone off the liberal deep end and felt emboldened to screw over middle class America.
“Read my lips, no new taxes”.
“See you are the signing!” (2006 Comprehensive Immigration Reform)
The democrats said repeatedly that the Bush’s were dumb. Well, they got that one right.
Bush: Ronald Reagan’s one HUGE blunder.
“Trump Is a Blowhard, I Dont Like Him and I Voted for Hillary....”
This from the “Blowhard” who only ended up on the ticket with Reagan to appease the so called moderate Republicans. Who only joined the NRA to try to con conservatives to vote for him and then very publicly quit after the “jack booted thugs” thing following Waco and Ruby Ridge. And was able to blow a 90% plus approval rating before his failed re-election. And his boy was just as bad. I have had more than one Veteran tell me they believe the real reason Dub attacked Iraq was to pay back Saddam for the hit he put out on ‘41 following Desert Storm. Considering the petty comments out of “Bushland” lately, I too am wondering.....
It's because the true war is no longer between Democrats and Republicans, it's now between those wanting one giant oppressive world government and those wanting liberty and freedom.
And this dope wonder why he lost in 92?
He only won in 88 because he was supposed to be Reagan III.
I doubt he wrote it. The guy’s an inch away from a drool bucket.
Right there with you in that thinking...
How the heck did you dodge the “banned” bullet?
Before that, I'm sorry to say, I had voted for Dems. I never liked GWB - I forget who I voted for in the primary. In the first election, I voted for Nader. Yeah, he's super liberal, but he was honest. I figured I'd rather have an honest person as president rather than a corrupt person from either party. After 9/11, though, I was glad he wasn't president. I couldn't see him as a war time leader, but who knows...
I did vote for Bush for his second term. But I was disappointed in his not securing our borders and not limiting Muslim immigration. And, I hated his created the DHS. We have the FBI and CIA. Part of the blame for 9/11 was that these two agencies weren't communicating with each other. Adding a third agency into the mix, only creates more potential for miscommunication. What I did like about Bush was his respect for the military.
And Dukakis was such a joke.
I wish that pretzel would have won...
This is why it’s time for Americans to throw all politicians out of politics. It them, regardless of their announced party affiliation, against us.
RR did not want Bush. RR waited to the very last minute before nodding to Bush. He nodded as a compromise to satisfy the GOP establishment.
Yes, it was a mistake but RR managed to keep Bush in the pen during his two terms. What was really the problem is that people loved RR so much they thought that in 1988 that Bush would be Reagan II. It was called the Reagan ‘Afterglow’. RR could not at that time speak out against Bush. We needed another RR to run against Bush in the primary but RR was a hard act to follow. We needed someone like Trump in 1988. Thank God we have him now. But come 2024, we’re going to need a strong candidate that will continue the Trump MAGA revolution.
Nothing out of the Bush clan during the eight years of anti-American hell under the Hussein regime.
Spit.
