Hillary Clinton has expanded on her earlier claim that sexism helped torpedo her 2016 campaign, stating more specifically this week that white women were scared off by their husbands, brothers, boyfriends and male employers.
"When women are serving on behalf of someone else, as I was when I was Secretary of State, for example, they are seen favorably," the twice-failed presidential candidate said this week in an interview with NPR.
She added, "But when they step into the arena and say, 'Wait a minute, I think I could do the job, I would like to have that opportunity,' their favorabilities goes down."
Clinton continued her conversation with NPR, recalling a recent conversation she said she had with Facebook's chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, who told the former secretary of state that a woman's unpopularity is directly proportional to her success.
"Sheryl ended this really sobering conversation by saying that women will have no empathy for you, because they will be under tremendous pressure – and I'm talking principally about white women – they will be under tremendous pressure from fathers and husbands and boyfriends and male employers not to vote for 'the girl,'" Clinton said.....

I was on board with Trump from day #1 but I had limited expectations. I expected him to win. I expected him to appoint a conservative to the Supreme court to replace Scalia and any other justices that may pass while he holds office for that matter. I expected him to be tough on illegal immigration. Beyond that, I was hopeful but not really expecting that he would get anything done. As you said though, he’s still better than Hillary but I would like to see him get more of the promised agenda passed before 2018 and 2020 for his sake and ours.

She is so unfathomably stupid that First, she actually said this, and Second, after saying all sorts of things like this she is genuinely at a loss to understand that the vast majority of the American people don’t like her, and that’s why she lost the election. Okay Hillary, I will offer as an alternate analysis of you defeat;
Women (and men) voters saw in you a woman that has failed at every job she has had since graduating college.
Voters saw that you conspired with the Democrat Party to deny Sanders the nomination.
Voters saw in you a candidate with few personal redeeming qualities.
It should also be noted that you barely campaigned for yourself, going for weeks at a time between campaign rallies or press conferences.
I would also suggest to you that it is a sign of an immature or abnormal personality to deny and blame on others one’s personal failures.
The sexism hypothesis has been conclusively disproven. A group at NYU arranged for a perfect gender-swap of Trump vs
Hillary. The actor/actress used the same words, gestures, etc from the actual debate, but Trump was female and Hillary was male.
The results: The creators, who were firmly convinced that the gender-swap would uncover the sexism against Hillary, actually found that the male Hillary was utterly unlikeable, and the female Trump actually had very good points. They were shocked and “now understand why Trump won”.
The whole process makes it extremely obvious that Hillary being a woman helped her, not hurt her.
She needs to be sprayed with shrillery be gone, or RAID cockroach spray.
And if I had a nickle for every time a woman did something I “told” her to do I’d still be nickle-less.

There are many terrible reasons for President Trump’s victory, but there are two things that were not a factor. First, Hillary was the perfect candidate; nothing she did harmed her candidacy in any way. Second, President Trump was the worst candidate imaginable; nothing he did helped his candidacy at all, except with racists, sexists, bigots, and the rest of the basket of deplorables.
