Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Sunday said he can’t guess why some fellow Republicans deny the scientific consensus that climate change exists and is affected by human activity.
“I don’t know because I can’t divine their motives,” McCain said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
“There is things happening with the climate in the world that is unprecedented,” he added. “We have to understand that the climate may be changing and we can take commonsense measures which will not harm the American people.”
McCain also said an agreement President Donald Trump came to with Democrats for a short-term increase in the debt limit “was not an exercise in bipartisanship.”
“The Republicans leaders, Ryan and McConnell, were surprised to hear that he had cut this deal with Chuck and Nancy,” McCain said, referring to House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and their Democratic counterparts House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
“The proposal that the President accepted, the speaker of the House had just categorically rejected,” McCain said. “So that’s not the way we need to do business.”
Because before climate change, it was global warming, and before that it was global cooling. Real crises don’t need to change their terminology.
Because Johnny they don’t divine.
“Deniers” understand cyclic events that happened, and have happened, and will continue to happen on this Earth.
Climate change has indeed been going on since the last ice age. Geologists have hard evidence that there were at least five previous ice ages before the last ice age. That is climate change. There is no denying it.
But suddenly we’re in another cycle and the scammers and the grifters are out in force and fleecing the lemmings for a monetary gain from another cycle that has occurred and will continue to occur on the dynamic planet that we inhabit. You McCain or the stupid one... or part of the scam.
Because it’s a fraud, a scam, and a hoax, John.
No one cares what McCain says anymore. He’s the HOPe’s designated loon.
Of course climate changes. Duh
Hey, John! I can’t divine your motives. There are things happening with illegal immigration in the United States that is unprecedented. Why don’t you understand that illegal immigration is having an adverse affect on the economic, social, political, and cultural character of our country and that we can take commonsense measures which will protect the American people?
A bubble just broke the surface of the DC Swamp and it had McCain’s foul stench. America is getting sick and tired of forking over our tax money over to these pseudo-science scammers and their government cronies.

Saying the science is settled doesn’t make it so. Maybe they should try making their case with facts instead of eye rolling and intimidation. If they can.
