Kid Rock teased a potential U.S. Senate run on Thursday, tweeting that '[t]he 2018 Political Revolution is nearing.'
The musician, who was born Robert Ritchie and lives in suburban Detroit, has already said on social media that a website touting his Senate candidacy against Democrat Debbie Stabenow is real.
He said in July that he would make a 'major announcement in the near future.'
Ritchie wrote on a Kid Rock for US Senate website that '[t]he democrats are "shattin’ in their pantaloons" right now…and rightfully so!'
'We will be scheduling a press conference in the next 6 weeks or so to address this issue amongst others, and if I decide to throw my hat in the ring for US Senate, believe me…

Robert Ritchie ought to run for the Senate if he thinks he can be a better Senator than Sen. Stabmenow.
Anyone could be a better Senator than Sen. Stabmenow.

Why not? Voter fraud isn’t a crime. Millions of illegal aliens and American alike do it without consequences. Heck, I’ll vote for him, twice!
The top-tier candidate should be identified and should run. Since the 16th or 17th amendment was passed we end up with a lot of cowards that don’t want to work without victory insured. We end up with a celebrity with no experience(if we’re lucky). It’s worked at times.
I got a heads up from his team that on 9/12 in his concert he will give a statement on his political positions.
He needs to run as Robert Ritchie.

Anybody is better than Stabenow. At least Kid Rock is not owned by lobbyists.
I can’t vote for him either, I don’t live in Michigan. Or is there another reason you can’t vote for him?

All jokes aside, isn’t this guy Kid Rock (whose songs I have never heard and don’t intend to) a criminal? Why should we support a law breaker?
