The conservative House Freedom Caucus will not push for border wall funding as part of the expected stopgap funding bill next month, according to the group's chairman, Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.).

They are rolling us. Fund it now and in the “real” budget. Trump has more leverage now.
What “stopgap”(CR)...the budget is due by the end of Sept...I believe Mr. Trump submitted his budget proposal on time, NO excuse for stopgaps or a CR.
But, as usual, it’s not going to be done on time and there will have to be a stopgap CR.
Sure would like to see a remittance tax in the new budget. Haven’t heard anything about it- Congress doesn’t like to pass taxes that can be seen.
