Investment manager and GOP megadonor Foster Friess told CNBC's Squawk Box on Friday that President Trump's decision to blame both white nationalist groups and their counter-protesters for last weekend's violence in Charlottesville was correct and the resulting uproar was "politically inspired."
The key quote: "I love Donald Trump. He's become a victim. And he's being bullied. And that's why Americans are flocking to him, because they hate [seeing] people…bullied."
Friess' influence: A supporter of conservative Christian political causes, he helped finance Rick Santorum's presidential run in 2012. He's been active in media as well, investing millions into The Daily Caller.

Interesting point by the author, but the author still doesn't get it quite right.
Trump didn't criticize all the "counter protesters". He only criticized the violent ones and the ones who belong to violent groups.

He told the truth.
He fights back.

Trump told the TRUTH..both sides were equally evil..those Neo Nazi Wannabes(Who I believe were paid actors by Soros) and those Antifa jackasses..BOTH sides deserve the blame, period end of story
If the commie left brings down President Trump, there is going to be a shooting war in this country. I’d almost guarantee it. The blood will be on the hands of the “democrats” (The Party of Death) as it always is. Damn them!
I don’t know if I would say both sides are equally evil. I don’t claim to know everything that goes on, but I don’t remember reading much about attacks by the neo-nazis. I could have missed them, but aren’t they just a bunch of big-mouth hate-filled racists who hang out with each other and foment among themselves? Or do they play the knock-out game, sneaking up on AA people who are minding their own business and sucker punch them as part of a game?
Both sides are equal in their thinking and their rhetoric. If the neo-nazis also block roads, kill cops, and carry out other atrocities, then they would be on the same par.
It’s impossible to think of Trump as a victim, being bullied. But the guy has a point. Trump’s enemies are bullies - at least wanna-be bullies.
I don’t think they have landed a punch yet - they’ll wind up being the ones that get hurt - but that doesn’t make them any less bullies.
I associate with quite a few liberals. and I was not one of those who supports Donald Trump no mater what he does. like most people he makes mistakes. I have tried to explain to those liberals that I have associated with that because they have as a group Demonized Trump and at times twisted what he has said or his actions they have made it impossible for them to attack his base of supporters and have in fact alienated those on the fringe that voted liberal but have no loyalty to the ideology.
I voted for trump because the alternative was abhorrent to me. I figured that Trump would only be a one term president after he was elected because of the fact that the republican party is divided on him being our repersenitive. with party insiders actually secretly trying to work against President Trump. Now I think he will get his second term because of one thing he is not scared to give an opinion that will lose him support. he understands that those who want him to alter what he is doing would never vote for him to begin with.

It would be nice if some of these mega-doners would contribute to the Roy Moore for Senate from Alabama. I donated to his campaign online after voting for him in the special primary this week. I am happy that he got the largest percentage of votes (39) but he is now in a runoff set for next month against Luther Strange who got 33 percent and who is a RINO crook who somehow fooled Trump into endorsing him. The wife and I plan to crawl over broken glass to vote for Roy next month and I hope my fellow eligble voters do the same.
