The GOP really needs to rethink the whole big tent thing. The self styled “elites” like Kristol, McCain and others make me ill.
Agreed. Kristol will never be more than a RINO.
Same Bill Krystol who:
1. Tweeted about working on disposing of Trump in May...
2. In interview he stated that WORKING CLASS class should be REPLACED BY IMMIGRANTS...Wow! Warning, if you watch this rather SMUG Krystol video, you be subjected to seeing his substantial paunch and chubby hands that don’t look like they have done an honest days’ work in his life...
He is right up there on my “Loathing List”
I don’t think he cares one bit about the GOP...I think he is an elitist who cares only about the global elite...Why do I say so...In his own words, he wants to replace “working class” with immigrants.
I would like to replace the political elites with Patriots!!!
Bring back McMuffin!
In the late 70s and early 80s, I was a big fan of Commentary, Irving Krystol’s magazine. They had moved from being socialists to being moderately pro-Republican, because of the Israel issue mostly. There were conservative ideas expressed in their magazine, but it was globalist in outlook. Globalism in those days was less offensive than now, it meant engaging the Soviet Union all over the world to prevent the Soviets from gaining influence and taking over the world. It didn’t mean replacing Americans in America and destroying our industry. It meant engagement, which is what Trump is doing now.
After the Soviets fell, that group of people started looking at the world as one big globally run enterprise. 9-11 gave them a lot of ability to put some of their ideas into practice. Obama was them on steroids.
Whatever they once were, they are now enemies of America. Bill Krystol is their propagandist.
Billy Boy is delusional.
Billy Boy is delusional.
The RNC is out to destroy Trump......
He is a sissified little pussy with a shit eating smirk on his face, See him on TV all the time...can’t miss him.
I don’t seem to see him as much as I did in the past. Perhaps I am watching the wrong channel.
Me, I'd like an apology and return of money given to Lyn' Ted. And would be great to he him return to his 'I am not eligible' assessment and a clear unambiguous endorsement of Trump, which Lyn' Ted has never once given. Even if he did, at this point who in their right mind would believe him. I sure would not.
The NeverTrumpers hit their peak during the Primary Season. At that time, the only thing that all us Trump supporters had was Trump’s ‘word’ that he would govern as a conservative. He certainly sounded great...but no political record, other than playing both sides as a mogul. For the NeverTrumpers, that ambiguity as to whether he could be trusted was enough to beg us to not nominate him...and that was their peak in credibility
Trump, of course, still managed to win the Primary...at that point, the rationale against him changed. Now Trump was SO BAD that he would get walloped and pull down huge numbers of Republicans in Congress along the way...thereby not just giving Hillary the White House, but giving her a Congress to rubber-stamp all her wishes (even more so than the Republicans would have...and stop laughing!). So the idea was to then get the Republican masses to still go out and vote to save Congress (again, please stop laughing)...and the only way to do that was to give them some 3rd party options, since they obviously would not vote for Trump. I still remember Kristol inhaling with his teeth together and then, with his usual smirk, saying “...there’s nothing wrong with campaigning against Trump because he’s going to get killed anyway, what we’re now doing is trying to save Congress” (and yes, he is able to say that with a straight face).
But once again, Trump prevailed, and saved Congress at the same time (LOL). And what has Trump done? If anything, so far, he’s governed TO THE RIGHT of Reagan, and far to the right of the Bush’s. What’s the reaction from the NeverTrumpers? While some have come around, many, perhaps most, say: “Who cares, we still don’t like his tweets and he’s upsetting our friends in Deep State”.
BUT WE CARE! Our primary concern with Trump was that he would waffle, or openly side with the Democrats, on big issues like immigration, gun control, and especially the courts. But he has not...of course. And now we’re PERFECTLY HAPPY with Trump - and that’s why most Republicans now have his back.
Which then leads to a question: If Kasich or Cotton or Linda, or anyone else want to run, and even have the full support of the Republican Establishment, how, exactly, do they plan to win any Primaries...with 70% to 80% of the Republican base - a far higher percentage than for 2016, now SUPPORTING Trump, as their initial concerns about him have been replaced by outstanding on-the-job performance.
So, any thought of them running against Trump is a total joke - their only hope is for Trump to be removed before 2020...and right now, that takes some 50 Republicans (House and Senate, with all the Democrats, of course). Will not happen...look at that 70% to 80% number again (above)...no Republican voting to remove Trump will keep his seat in his next election, so Trump is safe at least through next year. In 2018, no one really knows what to expect. The House numbers look good for Dems...except where it really counts, which is in Republican districts barely won by the Republican. In those districts, which the Dems must flip to win the House...Trump is still as well liked now as earlier, per a Vox (i.e., liberal) of 50,000 voters. So if the Republicans do ok in 2018...that means Trump will finish out his term, assuming he keeps his base behind him. If he does double-cross us (i.e., starts talking about Amnesty), then he may well find himself in Trump Tower 24/7, as we won’t be there to have his back.
Please do some of us a favor “maybe yourself also” GET HELP!
McMullin’s going to run as a Republican?
So now it’s official the left has a central Committee comrade.
They say Trump is a populist candidate and that is bad. Populist says popular and that is good in elections.
GOP needs to realize that with out Trump they are DOA as they cannot run in “repeal Obamacare” anymore as we know that is a lie, like you can keep your doctor
Since the skinny repeal failed - I send back GOP fundraising letters with a big FU on them.
Kristol is a lunatic, a hopeless idiot and a threat to every America loving individual today. Go pound sand you old bystard!
Succinctly summed him up. Was going to comment, but yours is good enough.
Once upon a time I felt sorry for Kristol when he got hit in the face with a pie during a college speech. Not any more...
