Scaramucci: Trump ‘on Missile Lock to Keep’ Border Wall Promise

White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci reaffirmed President Donald Trump’s commitment to stand for “the people that need the most help in the United States,” during an interview on SiriusXM’s “Breitbart News Saturday.”

The new communications director told Breitbart’s Matt Boyle that the shake-up within the White House in the aftermath of Scaramucci’s hiring and White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s unexpected resignation will serve to “refine” the message the president wishes to deliver to the American people. He said Trump is focused on fulfilling his campaign promises and corralling Congress into passing his legislative agenda.

“We’ve got to get the message out there and we’ve got to get the message to the congressmen and the senators to do the right thing for the country. And I believe we can do that,” Scaramucci said, noting that Trump is continuing to apply pressure to GOP senators to reach some sort of agreement in order to pass health care reform.

As for the funding and construction of Trump's long-promised border wall between the U.S. and Mexico, Scaramucci said that "the president has it in his budget" and expects Congress to comply.

"I know this is one of his campaign promises that he is on missile lock to keep, Matt," he told Boyle. "We have a list of campaign promises that are up on [senior adviser] Steve Bannon's wall, and we're going right through those campaign promises ... so that we can tell the American people we're citizen politicians or citizen public servants. We're not career politicians or establishment players that just want to sit in Washington and milk the system."

"And what we want to do is, here are the things that we promised you. And like good business people, we're going to deliver on these promises and try to make the system better," Scaramucci continued. "So the wall is at the top of the list for the president. And so I can assure you that is going to get done."

The communications director spoke of how watching Trump's unconventional campaign and witnessing how deeply his platform resonated with middle-class Americans across the country affected him deeply on a personal level.

"This is one of the most admirable things about him. It was the president that showed me — who grew up in a middle-class area like that — what was actually going on in my home time," Scaramucci said. "Matt, I was spending too much time trying to spiral my way up into the global elite, you know? I went to some fancy schools, and then I worked at Goldman [Sachs], and then I was trying to make myself some money to become financially independent. And I missed it."

"And so it's one of the reasons why I'm so passionate to get reconnected to that and to help the president help those people," he added. "One of the most successful things about the president is that he has a vision for those people, but he also identified that way earlier than what I would call the typical politician, who really wasn't focused on it."

Expressing his excitement over the opportunity the president has given him to serve his country in the White House, Scaramucci said his vision for the communications team involves “bringing staff in and developing messages so that we can go out there and reach the people that need the most help in the United States.”

“I do think that we can improve our messaging in a way where we create groundswells in those districts. And so people in the respective districts — both Democratic and Republican enclaves — if we can get the message out, I think it’s a pro-American, non-partisan message,” he said. “And there’s a lot of unanimity and appeal to what we’re doing. And so what I’m hoping with the right communications strategy, Matt, we can get that message out there to what I would call the heartland and to the people themselves, and then create a groundswell.”

When Boyle asked Scaramucci how he planned to approach the mainstream media's anti-Trump biases and the "fake news" Trump often decries, the communications director admitted that it will be tough going.

"The good news is that we've diagnosed the problem," he said. "What we have to do is we have to refine the message."

Scaramucci - The muchies are very frightened.

That lousy pun aside, Anthony Scaramucci does seem to be a relatively competent person, but there is room for only just so many beta males to join the entourage of the alpha male. Sean Spicer had to go, as it looked like the two job titles would overlap to an alarming degree.

You consider someone who went from working-class beginnings to the top of Wall Street and now the White House to be a beta male?

From his comments my impression of Scaramucci: He has the desire to be a hero/patriot. If true, and not false, that’s a good thing.

EVERYBODY in the employ of Donald J. Trump is by definition a “beta” Trump is the one and only “alpha”.

Beta males, in the presence of the alpha, may be pretty powerful in their own right, but still defer.
