The public are always looking to turn their politicians into celebrities. In fact the road to success on the dem side is to do just that. Didn't they turn Obama and Clinton into rock stars? Hillary and Jimmy Carter didn't have that kind of stuff and they didn't get far. Carter, in fact, got beaten by the first repub celebrity.
So, now the repubs have gone them one better. Rather than turn their candidates into celebrities, they just run celebrities like Reagan, Trump and the Kid.
Before I get flamed, I think the Kid will be 10 times the senator that Debbie Stabenow is. Reagan was a great president, and Trump is getting it done.
