My travels around the country provide continuing exposure to how the country is responding to our new president. Included in this learning is information about how average Americans are coping with the dramatic new production, "The Donald Comes to Washington".
On second thought, "dramatic" may be too understated an adjective. Rarely has America witnessed such a radical turnabout in such a brief period of time. Yet even at this early stage, one can discern how various factions are coming together, or falling apart, in response to the Trump era. These five emerging constituencies are numerous and subtle and require further analysis.
First in line are the "haters" — foot soldiers of the "resistance" – ready and willing to show up at a moment's notice at any flavor of Trump protest. They are the "mad as hell and not going to take it anymore" crowd. Some (most) continue in a state of electoral semi-denial. They understand Trump won but just can't bring themselves to accept all of the new realities (real or imagined) they must confront. A fair percentage of this group lives in liberal enclaves along the coasts. Many of them do not know anyone who voted for Trump. Note that more than a few had no love lost for Hillary Clinton. These true believers were bothered by the Clintonian propensity to bend and parse the truth. Most would have preferred Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren.....

Pretty good analysis. Lots of upside potential for him, having added 7 million Twitter followers since Jan., not counting the Potus account. Those are not hardcore conservatives who are now getting the story straight from Trump himself. Nor are they upset that he’s calling out the FC.
The tweets against the Freedom Caucus are costing him support.
If he wants to primary Dave Brat, who I worked hard to elect in favor of the weasel Eric Cantor, he will become my political opponent. His choice.

Healthcare is not just some SMALL ISSUE, this IS an issue that turns our care over to the government!! Ask vets how THEY feel about government run healthcare!!! Trimming around the edges just gives this bill a STALL until they work their way into OUR care being taken over!!! This bill does NOTHING to help families with the costs of their insurance or deductibles which for MANY means they have NO CARE just like our vets don’t have care!!! What families can afford $1200.00 a month premiums AND 7,000.00 a year deductibles????? If you think that this IS ok because Trump wants it and ANYTHING Trump wants should be fine, so be it!!! Trump IS wrong on this!!! Trump WILL BE a one term POTUS much to my dismay!!!! This bill is GREAT for the insurance lobbyists, Chamber of Commerce and attorney’s on K-street but HORRIBLE for the American people!!! Trump PROMISED the people that BIG donors, lobbyists, and K-street would NOT be running our nation any longer HOWEVER the FIRST big piece of legislation they are STILL in charge not the people or what IS BEST for the people!!! NOW you will also see EXACTLY who is in charge when it comes to tax cuts AND the WALL it is already happening the BIG DONORS are winning!!!! The American people and their freedoms are losing!!!
