Dem propaganda. Senate disaster in 2018.
Politico ^ | 9/13/2016 | Maggie Severns

Red-state Democrats and party strategists are already nervously looking past 2016, when they are angling to recapture the Senate, to the 2018 elections, hoping against hope that their party isn’t setting itself up for a titanic midterm backlash that could flip control of the Senate for a third time in three elections.

As difficult as the 2016 Senate map has been for Republicans, who had to defend numerous blue- and purple-state seats and could lose their majority, Democrats’ 2018 map looks practically unnavigable. The party starts with five ruby-red seats to defend: Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota and West Virginia. Then, Democrats have a slew of Senate seats up in traditional swing states, including Florida, Ohio, and Wisconsin. If he doesn’t become vice president, Tim Kaine will also face reelection in closely divided Virginia in 2018. And if he does, a Democratic appointee could face an expensive special election in 2017 before the race for a full term the next year.

I don’t know! I can only remember seeing one picture of her & if that was the “after picture” she still could trigger an event horizon in the space-time continuum.

Get the 60 senate seats, make sure you get 2/3 of congress. We already have 2/3 of governorships. And we will have the Supreme Court and the White House.

Sounds like a constitutional convention in the making.

The talk in Tennessee political circles is that if Corker does not land a plum job in the Trump Cabinet, he will leave the Senate and run for Governor of Tennessee.

Yes, decapitate all three of them!

Ayotte lost in large part BECAUSE she refused to help Trump, then went further and opposed him! (Yeah - Good Washington advice there, right?)

Sasse too.

Obama won big twice. But his popularity did not rub off on others. The same could happen with Trump. When he is not on the ballot, there is no reason to believe his popularity will rub off on others.

Just look at the divisiveness here on FR. Split over Ted Cruz when that shoould not happen as Trump and Cruz are both on the same side on draining the swamp... and on most issues.

Same with the divisiveness in other states. It makes us look very juvenile.

Best way to stop voter fraud is a good ground game. The best good ground game starts now; not in 2018.

I’d be shocked if Manchin didn’t flip. He has nothing to lose.

Hell, I was shocked he won his last election.

Bob Corker (Tennessee)
Ted Cruz (Texas)
Jeff Flake (Arizona)
Orrin Hatch (Utah)

These need to be primaried out of office.

Maybe President Trump will find something for Ted Cruz to do, but the the other three are millstones around the neck of Conservatism.

We need creative reassignment of the obstacles.
Appoint Hillary ambassador to Libya (Rush caller, creative)
you broke it; you own it.

Appoint Corker ambassador to the Antartica.
Appoint Sasse ambassador to Mars ... and send him there.

Appoint others to the agency you then eliminate.
