I'm a bit late to this thread, but (big smile) I was out in the city (SF) the other day, and the look of relief on the faces I saw was unmistakable. Didn't matter that CA went for Hillary Clinton (blue rind on a red watermelon). I think the majority of people, even in the blue neighborhoods, are in a "glad that's over" mood and are looking forward to the holidays.
