Trump Wins Exit Polls Among Israeli Absentee Voting

According to the result of an exit poll taken among absentee voters in Israel, Donald Trump would better serve the interests of the Jewish nation rather than Hillary Clinton as president.

Trump received 49% of the Israeli-American vote, while Clinton got 44%, according to the poll conducted by get-out-the-vote organization iVoteIsrael and KEEVOON Global Research.

The poll found a split between the two major-party candidates in New York, New Jersey, California, and Maryland. However, the swing state of Florida went to Trump outright.

The total number of votes coming from Israel, 30,000, is lower than the 80,000 who turned out in 2012.

Despite Trump winning among Americans in Israel, more are registered Democrats (33%) than Republicans (27%). Of Trump’s votes in Israel, 25% came from Democrats, and 10% of Clinton’s votes came from Republicans.

The only surprise is that it wasn’t by a bigger margin.

American Jews, even the ones in Israel, seem to find it hard to vote for Trump. It is promising, through, that many are not going to vote for Hillary either, and are going to sit this out.

Am assuming most of these American-Israelis are Jewish and as such, it's shocking that Jews that live in Israel are more in touch with reality than those here in the U.S.

However, as they live constantly with the immediate threat of terrorism than those here, I shouldn't be surprised.

The results also greatly differed. In 2012, iVoteIsrael’s exit poll found that 84% of Americans in Israel voted for Republican Mitt Romney and 14% voted to reelect US President Barack Obama.

That makes sense.American Jews who refuse to believe that Israel is the epitome of evil (yes, there are some) would naturally know that iLLary believes otherwise. So for them it's either Trump,Johnson or Stein.

I get the impression from many Jewish conservatives I know that they conflate being unintellectual with being ignorant. He doesn’t use enough polysyllables or make the proper cultural references, so he embarrasses them. They won’t vote for Clinton, but neither will they vote for him.

Considering how much Hillary loathes Jews, it’s not a surprise that those Jews in Israel don’t want her to seize power.
