Haha!

I don’t know why it bothers me. I was really embarrassed when GWB would say “nucular”, but in that case, he really was saying it!

The left will use every opportunity to cast us conservatives as ignorant knuckle dragging racist redneck morons who are so stupid we join cults and bitterly cling to our bibles and guns.

It doesn’t help that surveys “show” that people with a college degree lean heavily Democrat - a statistic that leaves me scratching my head - it doesn’t square with my own anecdotal evidence.

How, for example, can minorities be 80% democrat, people earning over $35k are republican, and yet those with a college degree or higher are democrat? It doesn’t add up, unless I missed something and the average minority has a more advanced degree than the average non minority.

More likely, the numbers are being cooked to reinforce the narrative that conservativism equals ignorance and hate - that we should be ashamed to be conservative.

In my experience, conservatives are the educated ones, the ones that know their history and current events, that have a solid understanding of the founding documents and the underlying principles therein.

Conservatives have the higher IQ, the better vocabulary, the better job, and are open minded, articulate and compassionate. While not thrilled with the Republican Party right now, conservatives generally vote republican because they understand democrats are Marxists.

Liberal democrats in my circles are more likely to be blue collar racists, or outspokenly non racists in the food services, hair solon and tattoo parlor set, work at an artsy shop or aspire to be a musician. Then there is the urban minority demographic, who don’t usually strike me as overly educated or particularly articulate.

The only demographics that show a proclivity for being highly educated, but yet koolaid drinking liberals are the professors of academia and the journalists. The Hollywood, musical and athletic stars are a strange mixture of uneducated, wealthy and liberal.

Even on college campuses and in high brow celebrity land though, it is the liberals in my experience who get stumped by simple civics questions such as how many states are there?, how many senators are there?, who is Vice President right now?, what were the unalienable rights?, what does ISIS stand for? and “point to the Ukraine on this map”.

Anyway, sorry for the rant, but I guess the attempt by the media to misquote Trump as saying “bigly” just feels to me like part of a larger leftist agenda and something I should push back against.

Trump is far from the media’s caricature of a boorish clown. He is far from stupid or uneducated. He’s one of those rare people who can easily adjust to all different social settings.

After winning the Oval Office, Trump’s next challenge is to unravel the liberal misinformation and brainwashing that has poisoned the public - conned them into thinking conservatism is ignorance and hate, big overreaching government equals compassion, and global warming and political correctness equals science.

Step one: Trump does not say “bigly”!
