Trump was never out of the race.
Possibly the first of many reasons he was chosen.
All Hillary Clinton 's dragging up 11 year old off color words Trump spoke did was:
1) Flush out all of the traitorous, GOPE globalist, open borders, anti-American citizen, anti-Trump, RINO "republicans" like Ryan and McCain: Thanks, we and Trump will REMEMBER who they are and "take care of them" once Trump becomes POTUS.
2) Make Horn-dog RAPIST Bill's rapes, sexual harassment and never-ending adulteries and Hildabeast's ongoing cover-ups, sexual-preditor enabeling, physical threats and personal attacks against RAPIST Bill's numerous VICTIMS: FAIR GAME!
And Luntz, you witnessed first-hand how that turned out during the second debate... the picture of RAPIST Bill's face posted on DRUDGE was worth a thousand words and says it all. Just you wait for the devastation Trump unleashes in "ROUND THREE":

We and many others made a mistake in telling him to be civil instead of going on attack during the first debate. he knows how to make a point....
“Trump missed a chance to clarify a major point: Whether or not his actions were “against the will” of the women. The media understands this... they keep repeating that it was sexual assault... ie, against their will.”
I thought Trump clarified that very well - not right away, but maybe the third time Anderson Pooper repeated the same condescending loaded question:
[paraphrase]”You boasted about touching women without their consent, do you understand that?”
To which Trump finally responded:
[paraphrase] “No, that is NOT what was said, Anderson.You don’t understand what was said. It was locker room banter, it was words, nothing more. When you have ISIS cutting off heads....”
I think telling Anderson that HE didn’t understand, was the best way to refute and clarify.
Remember, there is a well known paradox in debating where if you can get someone to include the original accusation in their denial, then you have won the game of perception.
For example, if he were to have said “No, I wasn’t boasting that because I’m a star, I can touch women without their consent”, he would be doing their work for them be repeating the accusation - EVEN providing a sound bite which can be truncated and replayed out of context as “Because I’m a star, I can touch women without their consent.”
And you know, without a doubt they would be low enough to do just that all day long.
I think he handled it like a pro, and put Anderdon Pooper in his place, to boot.
I supposed you're right. I guess I would have just liked to hear him saying something like, "Unlike Bill Clinton, I never forced myself on any unwilling woman".
But, that opens up a whole new line of questioning that would just get bogged down. The way Trump handled it SHUT IT DOWN quickly. That said, there are going to be more questions... and, a slew of women now who will come forward to say they were groped. I don't see this going away.
