NON-COLLEGE EDUCATED WHITE MALES
09-15-16 | TEDWINT

Posted on 09/15/2016 7:52:13 AM PDT by MostlyAnti-Lib

“Non-college educated white males”, the voting block said to be “Donald Trump's Crucial Pillar of Support”, leads one to believe that The Donald’s appeal is limited to a lower class of Americans.

“Non-college educated” seems to be synonymous with illiterate or ignorant. One could almost visualize a knuckle-dragging brute, wielding a club with which to kill his lunch or subdue a mate.

This is yet another indication that the elites hold Trump supporters in contempt. Hillary Clinton went so far as to call Trump supporters irredeemable, un-American “deplorables”.

The assumption appears to be that a person’s education ceases the instant said person leaves the classroom. A person’s curiosity and quest for knowledge comes to a screeching halt unless he or she is enduring the droning ramblings of an elite college professor’s liberal brainwashing, while going through the motions of teaching something useful.

A listing of these “knuckle-dragging brutes” might include:

STEVE JOBS, co-founder of Apple, ended up dropping out of Reed College. At the time of his death in 2011, Jobs' net worth was $11 billion.

RICHARD BRANSON, founder of Virgin Atlantic Airways, Virgin Records, Virgin Mobile and other Virgin brands. Branson never completed high school, but his net worth is said to be roughly $4.9 billion.

DAVE THOMAS, founder and CEO of fast-food empire, WENDY'S, dropped out of high school. Although he passed away in 2002 at 69 years old, his net worth was said to be $99 million.

RACHAEL RAY, cooking TV show star, author and businesswoman never attended college. Her net worth is a cool $60 million. Okay, she’s not a non-college educated white male, but I thought she merited inclusion.

MARK ZUCKERBERG, founder of FACEBOOK. You’d think dropping out of Harvard would be a bad idea, especially when everyone is trying to get in. His net worth is rising so fast, it’s hard to evaluate at any given time.

SHELDON ADELSON – The famous casino owner is worth billions of dollars, irrespective of the fact that he dropped out of City College of New York. He is known as one of the richest in the United States.

CHARLES DICKENS – Although he had no degree in English, English language literature is incomplete without his works.

MARK TWAIN – The author of the “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” and “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”, arguably some of the best American literature, didn’t have a college education.

Limits of space and time prevent a longer list of these exceptional non-college educated individuals, but it should be obvious I have only scratched the surface.

Although I never finished college, myself, I enjoyed a forty-plus year career as a Licensed Structural Engineer, and am proud to list myself along with these notable non-college educated whites (while, unfortunately, my net worth is not in the same league as those of the aforementioned), I am a Trump supporter, and I take extreme umbrage at being held in such disdain by elites of both parties.

“they treated HS grads as knuckle draggers.”

Yep, I’ve been there.

No offense, but the most successful, productive, intelligent people I’ve met in my life didn’t have a college degree.

treated HS grads as knuckle draggers

But who do they run to when the car battery is dead, or they drive into a snowbank, or a storm rips off the roof of the house?

Or when the country is threatened and needs WARRIORS to defend it...

“I did launch over 2,000 students towards theirs.”

At the risk of being repetitious, I will repeat my response to BMATR003, “I would conclude that you used your lack of education well!”

“the country is threatened and needs WARRIORS to defend it”

Back in my day, when the country was looking for warriors, college students applied for a deferment from the draft (and usually got it).

“Ivy League, Rhodes Scholars”

Don’t think that would be a logical conclusion.

“the most successful, productive, intelligent people”

It is certainly not my intention to denigrate the college graduate; many of whom I have admired and was pleased to call my friend. But that “sheepskin”, on its own, doesn’t make a person an exceptional human being.

I am with you on this as I have two terminal degrees, one professional and one academic plus a Masters and certification in several areas. I think therefore I am and I am a Trump supporter. Rough around the edges he may be, he can out logic Hillary anytime. I think Trump supporters have a very strong internal locus of control and they are deductive thinkers. I have yet to find one of those characteristics in the liberals I have spoken with. I have much confidence in Trump and the people he trusts. So far none of the lies from the Dems have caused him to bow his head in shame. And I do not think he is a sociopath or psychopath but I do think Hillary and her crew are socio and psychopaths considering their wild quest for power and fame regardless of who they kill in the process...even if it is Hillary herself.

“he is a sociopath or psychopath”

Name-calling is one of their favorite weapons (witness Hilarious’ recent “deplorables” tirade)… and for good reason: IT’S BEEN WORKING FOR THEM FOR DECADES!!

Three degrees right now. They only supplemented experience, they did not replace it. Mrs. jimfree is a published PhD who supported others early in the primary season but is now on the Trump Train.

The Trump support among the “less educated” just means that the Dems are hemorrhaging very, very badly in their former base.
